I am a 49 years of age American Sailor who grew up here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a University of California at Berkeley Graduate, Water Safety Instructor, Swim Instructor, former competitive swimmer and diver who loves spending time Sailing here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I grew up fishing with my father on his boat and fished past the Golden Gate to the Farralons twice a week at the age of 5 through college. Have taken many boat safety courses with the US Coast Guard, Professional Rescuer, Lifeguard 37 years, certified in CPR & Standard First Aid for the Professional Rescuer with the American Red Cross, Training in Defibrillator, Water rescue, current holder of Power Boat Safety US Sailing.
I have been an active member of South Beach Yacht Club for over 19 years, crew on a Beneteau 41, J105, Santana 35, J34, Alerian 38, Catalina 30, Express 37, to name a few and raced many Regattas here in the San Francisco Bay. Volunteering time with youth sailing at SBYC as well as Race Committee at RYC -14 Internationals, St. Francis Yacht Club Rolex Big Boat Series, SBYC Friday Night Race Series.
My most recent Sailing Adventures was Crew on MAIDEN, 58 foot Aluminum Racing Yacht sailing with Wendy Tuck (a former Skipper for Clipper Race), Ashley Perrin, Courtney Cox, Belle Johnson, Erica Lush. Sailing out of San Francisco on the Pacific to Southern California. I enjoyed every minute of it! Sunrise & Sunset watch, helm, grinder, gally, pit, chores. I can drive the boat, work in pit, I can cook and clean, excellent getting along with others. I don't get sea sick.
Seeking to be Crew on yacht for this upcoming Pacific Cup in 2020. Looking for the right boat, skipper and Crew. Safety is number #1. Would like to win and enjoy the journey at sea. I don't mind being the only lady among all men crew.
